We went and visted Mindy and her kids on Wed. afternoon, and she invited us to stay for dinner. It was nice to have a mutual-free night, since the girls had just returned from girls' camp the day before. Josh got to play with Spencer, Bryant and Karalee...he loves to have kids to follow around.
To help pass the time during the evenings I borrowed Season 1 of "Gilmore Girls" from Vicki's roommate and got a few episodes in before David got home late Fri. night. I was lazy all Sat. morning and watched most of the rest of them. It was fun to watch all the beginning episodes again, now I'm ready for Season 2. Anyone out there have it and want to let me borrow???
Yesterday Josh's 2nd top front tooth finally broke through, so now he has a jack-o-lantern smile--two teeth on the top and one on on the bottom. Hopefully the other bottom one will come soon to even things out a bit. He's getting to where he'll stand on his own for just a second. Maybe walking isn't too far off. This week he'll be 10 months old. Where has the time gone?!

One of Josh's favorite things is to play with my old business cards. If you come to visit, there's a pretty good chance that they'll be strewn about the back room. You might even find one or two in the kitchen and living room.
I couldn't resist this one...that smile is just too cute.

not that i have a husband who goes out of town, but i think having a husband still in school and working is kind of the same. i would go a few days without seeing him and clara more. so i would always go to my neighbor's and just sit and visit. b/c you're right, the phone just isn't the same. if only i looked that good playing the piano... :)
I could NEVER get tired of seeing pictures of my cute little nephew! We need to get together more often so that he and Weston and find out that they are supposed to be best buddies!!! :) I guess Josh, Trevin and Weston will have their whole lives to get into trouble together...so maybe it's a good thing to not rush it! :) j/k
He's pretty dang cute. And he looks exactly like you two. It's fun keeping up with what's going on with you. Are you going to play volleyball this summer?
Amy, we actually only have five players this season and need a sixth. Three of our players aren't playing during the summer. They'll all be back in the Fall. Anyway, we've found two replacements for the summer but haven't found a sixth yet. We're in B league so it's not that exciting but if you want to play with us, we could really use a 6th person.
Josh is so cute! So funny that he's into your business cards. When cooper was his age he loved UNO cards, i would find them all over our house.
