My baby is 9 months old today. I can't believe how fast he is growing up. It seems like just a couple of weeks ago that I was working 60 hour weeks, and now a whole busy season came and went without me. It was definitely the fastest (and most enjoyable) busy season I've ever had!
This past weeks we've all been sick. David came down with a cold after we came home from Snowflake for Jewel's wedding. Then Josh started getting a runny nose (I thought maybe he was finally going to get some teeth, but no) and later a cough. Then last Sunday I caught whatever it was that David had. Tues. night Josh decided to make it more exciting and threw up, and again the next morning, then on Thurs. he couldn't keep anything down. I took him to the doctor and they said he had a gastro-something (can't remember) virus that usually lasts about 3-5 days. They had me loading him up on Gatorade to keep him hydrated and giving him soy formula for a few days, since the regular milk formula is more likely to upset the stomach, they said. He seems to be mostly over it now, thank goodness! I don't think there is anything more sad (sadder?) than a sick baby!
Because Josh does so many cute things, here are a couple of pictures from the last couple of months:
First time in a real swing was during our ward bbq at Riverview Park back in March...he loved it!
We went camping at Apache Lake with the Orr's back in March. We dressed Josh up in a furry teddy bear outfit for the cold nights. Here he is with Grandpa Orr.
Josh will often drop snacks down to the bottom of his Excersaucer. He recently discovered that he can crawl in there and eat them later.
Fun eating carrots.
Josh has discovered lots of fun new places to play.
We've got a little prodigy on our hands. Since he's grown tall enough to reach the piano keys he loves to make noise!

this is great Amy! Since I started my blog I've really been wanting to see one from all of my friends, and lots of us snowflakians have one, and now you do too!!!! :) It makes me happy. Hope to see new entries more often than not, but I can't speak, since I don't update mine very often myself! Love V
Yeah! You started a blog! I love blogs...you can know what's going on in people's lives that you don't get to see very often. Your little boy is so dang cute! Feel free to check our blog out too... it's bsmowers.blogspot.com

Aren't little boys so much fun! My McKay is just a couple of weeks older than Josh so they are doing a lot of the same things now. Being a mom is so much fun!
So did you do ANY taxes this tax season? I ended up working a lot more than I thought I would (55+ hrs) but my husband could watch McKay and it was my last big busy season for quite a while. Jordan graduated from BYU and we are moving in a couple of weeks. Life goes on!
Your Josh is a cutie!
LOVE the pictures!
I am so glad you are doing a blog too! I have loved doing mine! Josh is adorible!

Yay for blogs! Ours is www.benandabbey.blogspot.com, good idea posting on the family website, I didn't even think of that,, Josh is so cute, good job guys! And I agree, there is nothing sadder (sure) than a sick kiddo, especially the stomach virus', they get so wiped out.
Yay! I'm so happy you have a blog now! Josh is constantly amazing me with all of his "skills." I can't believe all the stuff he can do already. Such a cutie:)
Your blog is so cute! And so is Josh of course!
I finally checked it out! So cute. Josh's BIG smile just makes my day!
He is full of smiles. What a happy little guy! In the first picture he looks so much like David. Happy First Mother's Day!
What a cute little boy. He looks like your son. It sounds like you are keeping busy and having lots of fun! We might be down in AZ in the next year or so for a wedding. I would love to see you and your cute little family! :o)
peer pressure is horrible, unless of course it entails someone starting a new blog to furnish me with entertaining reading material. :) i especially enjoy it since i haven't seen you since that little (?) guy was born... how'd that happen? oh, and did your dad tell you i saw him a few months ago? okay, five months ago? i was at a Board meeting for one of my clients and he was there with a few other political figures. everyone got a good laugh at my expense as they said not only did your dad raise 13 kids, but he also raised me and i used to stick my fingers up his nose... anyway, he's a funny guy.
