Fathers & Sons

I don't want Josh to feel left out, so here is an update on him as well.

This past weekend David and Josh went to our ward's fathers' and sons' campout. David said Josh slept well and had a great time, even though it was pretty cold, up until he fell and scraped up his nose and lip on the asphalt on Saturday morning. I don't blame him for not being too happy after that, though, because it looked pretty painful. He's such a good boy and is so tough (for the most part) even after he gets hurt. Here's the progression of the injury:

Right after geting home.

Yesterday after it was nice and scabbed up. It looked the worst on Sunday because he had a nice fat lip to go with those scabs.

This evening after he had spent the day picking off most of the scabs. Chicks dig scars, right? You can tell how excited he was about me taking his picture.

Here are some more fun pictures of Josh from this past month:

Playing in the snow in the back of the truck while wheeling with Dad up on Montana Mountain Road (in the Superstition Mountains) last weekend--the day before Easter. Can you believe it snowed there in April?

Such a big helper. Notice the scrubbing pad under his foot. I drag that along with my foot as I mop so as to save myself from having to bend over to scrub so often (yes, I'm lazy). I guess he picked up on that.

And just for fun, does he look any chubbier today than he did when he was born?

So this is random but your tile looks really good espcially after Josh cleaning it. Last time I was at your place David was putting it in but it looks great!

Ouch! That makes me squirm.

Mary sure is sweet and I see a lot of Josh in her.

I bet all your kids will look alike because I still think you and David look like siblings. :)

Ouch!! What a fall, glad he is better...yes Iam doing the 3 day method. Today is day four and it is getting better. Still accidents...etc, but she is not 2 yrs yet and her bladder may take a little longer to adjust...at least that what the method explains. So Iam just waiting it out. Also, boys do take a little longer closer to 3, I would start working with him on pulling down his pants (if he doesn't already do that)
